GOJO has returned to America’s drag strips as Hanna Motorsports jet-car racing team’s title sponsor to promote healthy hands for automotive technicians and fans.

“GOJO is proud to work with Hanna Motorsports, a first-class team with the same attention to performance that our brand stands for when it comes to cleaning and conditioning hands,” said Harold Tyreman, GOJO vice president for sales and marketing in automotive, industrial and textiles. “The involvement of GOJO heavy duty hand cleaners with Hanna Motorsports exemplifies our 68-year relationship with people who work on cars as professionals or do-it-yourselfers.”

World record-holder Rich Hanna drives the GOJO Firebird. His work with GOJO educates fans about the importance of healthy hands and how to keep them in great condition.

“Our hands, whether we work as professional or shade-tree mechanics, get roughed up in grimy environments,” he said. “GOJO offers products that can get hands clean and keep them in good condition.”

Tyreman said GOJO scientists and automotive technicians have collaborated over the years to understand the challenges of keeping skin clean and healthy and to develop effective products.

Hanna Motorsports races a three-car team of jet dragsters, including the GOJO Firebird. It holds the world speed and elapsed time records for jet funny cars, with a quarter-mile best of 5.42 seconds and 296 mph. Hanna team appearances began March 15 and will continue through October at drag strips across America.
