Georgia-Pacific has officially began construction for a new distribution center in Wisconsin. Breaking ground in De Pere in early November, the facility will be 1.1 million square feet with an expected completion date by the end of 2022 reports WeAreGreenBay.com.
The facility is slated to feature storage capacity for over two million cases of products, 110 truck loading docks, and enable the company to consolidate resources that currently are spread across four different warehouses. In total, the investments into the facility are projected at around $50 million.
