Gordon Brush Mfg. Co. announced the company has received a member resolution from the California State Senate. The resolution sponsored by Senator Ronald S. Calderon, 30th California State Senate District, resolves "that Gordon Brush Mfg. Co., Inc. be recognized for its unwavering commitment to manufacture products made in California and the United States, and commended on its long history of community support."

The resolution was presented to Gordon Brush by Jaime Rodriguez, Sen. Calderon's district representative at the Gordon Brush manufacturing plant.

Company President and CEO, Ken Rakusin, said, "it is a great honor to receive this Member Sponsored Resolution from Senator Calderon and the State Senate. Not every company receives [this] recognition. This is a special honor that we are extremely proud of."

Moreover, said Rakusin, "We are proud to be an American manufacturer and maintain our plant in Commerce, Calif., resisting the temptation to relocate to another state or off-shore."

The company is also recognized by California Manufacturing Technology Consulting ("CMTC") as part of their Made in California Program.
