The Green Clean Institute announced it has received third-party accreditation from The Foundation for Accredited Learning (FAL). The agency recently awarded thrid-party accreditation to new course providers in the environmental, health and safety fields.

FAL-accredited providers have demonstrated that their courses accomplish stated learning objectives. In awarding accreditation, FAL ensures that providers meet high standards for course development and administration, including:

    • Course developer qualifications
    • Instructor qualifications
    • Instructor evaluation and performance
    • Course learning objectives
    • Course evaluation and performance
    • Exam development and psychometrics
    • Exam security and score reporting
    • Records maintenance and confidentiality
    •  Class size and learning environment

Providers who meet FAL standards publish the exclusive FAL accreditation logo on their websites, course completion certificates and advertising materials.

“The FAL accreditation seal represents formal, third-party verification that a course meets stated learning objectives,” said Charlie Wiles, FAL executive director.  “The seal can help individuals locate first-class training programs, and is also a valuable marketing tool for course providers.”

Based in Rolla, Mo., GCI provides janitorial education and certification in the U.S. and abroad.

The Foundation for Accredited Learning (FAL) is an independent accreditation body serving industry training providers across North America.
