The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) has announced its support of Sustainability Dashboard Tools LLC, an organization focused on developing tools to help buildings meet the challenges of sustainability tracking to achieve a cost-effective culture of sustainability.

“What is measured, gets controlled and saved,” says Allen Rathey, president and founder of the Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI). “Measuring and tracking waste, recycling, transportation, supplies, energy and water information using the Sustainability Dashboard will help large and small facilities be healthier and save money, while protecting the environment.”

“We are grateful for the support of educational centers such as the Healthy Facilities Institute and look forward to continuing to spread the word about the benefits of sustainability,” said Stephen Ashkin, chief executive offficer, Sustainability Dashboard Tools, LLC. “While every individual and organization wants to do the ‘right thing’, for us to be successful we must create a culture of sustainability by applying the 3E’s — engaging, educating and empowering our people — instituting sound management practices, setting improvement goals, tracking progress, and ultimately changing what we do on a daily basis.  Business as usual is no longer sustainable in our rapidly changing and competitive global economy.”
