Janitorial supplies distributor, Hill & Markes Inc., has hired Ray Borst as its new chief financial officer. Borst will work out of the Hill & Markes headquarters in Amsterdam, N.Y.
Borst, a CPA, has held various positions in financial services over the past 20 years. Most recently, he worked as CFO at Fillpoint LLC, a distributor of video game consoles.
Borst earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting from SUNY Brockport, and an MBA in business administration from SUNY Albany, where he graduated Cum Laude.
He lives with family in East Greenbush, where he is active with his children in baseball and soccer.
In addition to janitorial supplies, Hill & Markes Inc. is a distributor of industrial packaging, food service, ice cream products, and farm and office products through upstate and western New York State.
