ISSA Hygieia Network, a program dedicated to the advancement and retention of women in the cleaning industry, announced on Wednesday its next upcoming webinar, "Calling All HR and Business Leaders: Mentoring Program Options for Your Employees."

The free webinar will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Central Standard Time.

“ISSA Hygieia Network has always believed mentoring is key to improving employee retention and helping women thrive in their professional careers,” says Dr. Felicia L. Townsend, ISSA Hygieia Network Program Director, in a press release. “Making connections and having someone to turn to when questions arise, especially during this uncertain time, is critical. We’re excited to showcase the unique abilities our mentoring programs can provide to employees at every level in the cleaning industry.”

The free, informational webinar is perfect for human resources and business leaders interested in mentoring opportunities within or outside their organizations. Attendees will learn about the unique roles of the mentor and mentee and how ISSA Hygieia Network’s mentoring program works. Jennifer Wood, director of Human Resources at Diversey, North America and Kim Price, vice president of Sales Force Effectiveness at Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products, will lead the webinar.

One of ISSA Hygieia Network’s signature programs, IHNMentoring, connects cleaning industry professionals with new employees or those who seek to advance their careers to develop a one-on-one online mentoring relationship. The program includes step-by-step guidelines, mentoring tips and activities, and much more.
