ICC Restoration & Cleaning Services, one the Twin Cities’ and western Wisconsin’s leading restoration and remodeling companies, was one of 12 finalists named for the 2013 Torch Awards for Ethics presented by the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota.
A record number of 315 nominations were submitted for the award this year. Each finalist submitted an extensive portfolio that detailed their commitment to ethics and integrity in all aspects of their marketing and business operations with their customers, employees, vendors and the community.
Over 250 business owners and community leaders gathered at Guthrie Theatre in downtown Minneapolis in late October to celebrate the finalists and award the winners. The ceremony was emceed by local Minnesota radio host, “Kool” 108’s Lee Valsvik.
“All of today’s finalists…have made a point of doing the right thing and making the right choices, and today is a celebration of that commitment to integrity,” said Valsvik. “These days, more than ever, it’s important to celebrate companies that make it a point to do the right thing simply because it’s the right thing to do.”
ICC President Tom Laska accepted the finalist award along with key members of the ICC team.
"We are honored to be a finalist for the 2013 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics and stand beside other great companies acknowledged for their similar commitment in this arena,” said Laska. “For ICC, running an ethical contracting business is a never-ending dedication, and our team will continue to put actionable processes, protocols, communications and systems into place that further verify and illustrate the commitment ICC has to promoting and implementing ethical business practices.”
