Janet Wiggins – an IEHA member for 20 years and a Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) for 18 years − will become the 2014-2016 President of IEHA in November 2014, replacing Sherry Sidwell, BS, Registered Executive Housekeeper (REH), who served as IEHA President 2012-2014.
In a career spanning two decades, largely in healthcare, Wiggins has served as an officer at the IEHA Chapter and District level, and on the IEHA Board of Directors. She is Director of Environmental Services, The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch, Sarasota, Florida. Wiggins is also a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Service Contractors Education and Training Trust Fund (SCETTF), which provides all the educational training for the Laborer’s International Union of North America (LIUNA).
“I am excited to continue the work of the IEHA Board to forge the new IEHA,” says Wiggins. “We are energized as we plot a course to excellence for our members.”
Outgoing IEHA president, Sherry Sidwell, adds, “It is a new day for IEHA. Our members will prosper under Janet’s leadership, and IEHA’s updated Professional Education Credentialing Programs (PECP) will continue to advance IEHA Member careers while enhancing indoor environments.”
