The International Facility Management Association's World Workplace 2012 Conference & Expo is coming to San Antonio's Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2012. The conference is a global, multidisciplined discussion on workplace trends, challenges and best practices that will highlight the new products and services impacting the workplace throughout 2013 and beyond.

The conference offers more than 60 educational sessions on topics such as project management, strategic leadership, sustainability practices and employee development. It will also feature presentations by former Chief Evangelist of Apple and co-founder of Alltop.com, Guy Kawasaki, and FBI consultant Frank Abagnale, author of "Catch Me If You Can."

World Workplace exhibiting companies represent industries and business sectors including alternative energy, architecture, building maintenance, disaster recovery, education, food services, furniture, health care, real estate, security, technology and more. The World Workplace expo will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, and from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1. Access to this year's expo is free for all who wish to attend. Educational sessions begin Wednesday afternoon. Registration is available in advance or attendees can register on-site at the conference.
