The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), an international standard-setting, nonprofit organization for the inspection, cleaning and restoration industries, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IEHA, formerly the International Executive Housekeepers Association. As part of the recently approved MoU, the partnership will allow both organizations to openly collaborate and raise awareness about the value of continuing education and certification programs within their shared industries.

“Partnering with the IEHA provides the Institute with an opportunity to engage a new audience and further our reach within the executive housekeeping community,” said Tony Wheelwright, chairman of the IICRC. “This collaboration will allow for both organizations to work together and implement innovative ideas for years to come.”

Through the memorandum, the IICRC and IEHA will maintain a working relationship which will involve the exchange of industry knowledge between organization executives. As part of the agreement, the organizations will cross promote their educational programs while evaluating additional opportunities for collaboration.

“IEHA is pleased to have this grand opportunity with IICRC to support and promote each other’s public awareness and public education efforts,” said Beth Risinger, IEHA CEO and executive director.
