The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). As part of the MoU, the partnership will allow both organizations to openly collaborate and raise awareness about the importance of hiring certified professionals within the inspection, cleaning, restoration and HVAC industries.
“By partnering with NADCA, we will be able to create greater awareness for the Institute by promoting the IICRC to NADCA’s extensive membership,” said Darrel Paulson, Chairman of the IICRC. “We will also exchange best practices with NADCA to drive the advancement of standards and certification procedures within our industry.”
Through the memorandum, the IICRC and NADCA will maintain a working relationship which will involve the exchange of industry knowledge between organization executives. As part of the agreement, both organizations will also work to promote each other’s awareness and education initiatives, as well as encourage their members and registrants to work together to create opportunities for technical training during annual meetings.
“Partnering with the IICRC provides us the opportunity to expand our knowledge and better serve those within our shared industries,” said Bill Benito, ASCS, CVI, president of NADCA. “We look forward to collaborating with the IICRC and developing a strong relationship.”
