Informa Markets’ upcoming ISSA Show North America from Nov. 15-18 made an official announcement regarding health and safety protocols for the in-person event. After the pandemic required an all-digital show in 2021, the show returns to the halls and exhibits of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), but with a few important caveats that prospective attendees need to know.
COVID-19 Testing/Vaccinations
All attendees and staff with the show will need to show proof of either full vaccination more than 14 days before the event, or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours before the event. ISSA has highlighted several spots where COVID-19 testing can be done through Nevada Health Response.
Face Coverings
In line with current mask policies for the state of Nevada, all attendees will be required to wear a mask while indoors at the event regardless of vaccination status.
Cleaning Protocols
The LVCC has received GBAC STAR Facility Accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), meaning that all 20 criteria elements for the program have been fulfilled to ensure effective and up-to-date infection control and cleaning practices. The building service contractor in charge for the show United Services Companies — also a GBAC Star Recipient in the Service Provider Category.
“If any industry can host a safe trade show, it’s ours,” said ISSA Executive Director John Barrett. “ISSA Show North America will have the most effective protocols and procedures in place to protect the health and safety of exhibitors, attendees, vendors, and others.”
