ISSA recently received the top honor in the association management industry when it was named the winner of the Publisher's Choice Award in the Association TRENDS' Association Excellence Contest.
 
ISSA's Promise Kit, mailed to members in October to launch the association's new emphasis to change the way the world views cleaning, was the project to receive this coveted award. The project was selected as the most innovative association initiative from more than 450 entries.

"Our goal with the Promise Kit was to show our members how their association was changing the way the world views cleaning and to offer them unique tools to help them compete in their markets. Receiving this distinguished award further reinforces our belief that despite being in a presumably unglamorous industry, you can be recognized amongst distinguished peers as an innovator. Thanks to Association TRENDS for providing ISSA with one more example for our members of how the professional cleaning industry can stand out and make a difference."

The award distinguishes ISSA as a leader amongst organizations, including the American Cancer Society, American Society of Association Executives, Pack Expo, and other organizations representing prominent professions such as biotechnology, finance, pharmaceuticals and more.

Association TRENDS will publish a special case study regarding ISSA's new promise to its members and the association's initial success with member engagement. This is the second national award ISSA has received for its new promise. The first was a Gold Award in the Membership Communications category in the same Association TRENDS contest.
