ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam marks its 25th anniversary in 2014. In the past years, the show has earned international recognition, became the launch pad for product innovations worldwide and has a high level of loyalty from global visitors and exhibitors. ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam 2014 will be held May 6 to 9th, in Amsterdam. It was first launched in 1967.
“We are working on special ways to mark this great occasion and we promise you a festive 25th birthday event,” says Rob den Hertog, Amsterdam RAI’s Manager ISSA/INTERCLEAN.“We are also always, of course, looking for new initiatives to provide the industry with business and networking opportunities and 2014 will be no exception.” And as a product showcase with excellent networking, ISSA/INTERCLEAN is second to none.
The 25th edition will be the largest to date and proudly welcomes over 150 new exhibitors. Dedicated to facilitate visitors in finding their way on the 50.000 square meters of fairgrounds, the show features a Washroom Area, High Pressure Area and a Steam Cleaning Area where exhibitors in these segments are conveniently clustered. Meeting industries demand and interest, Management and Mobility Solutions will receive special attention. New in 2014 is an Outdoor Demo Show, bringing a multitude of equipment manufacturers, dealers and retailers together for a show filled with a variety of activities and demonstrations for outdoor cleaning.
Interclean was born in Amsterdam’s famous Café Hoppe. Two window washers, enjoying a dutch genever came up with the idea to organize an exhibition dedicated to cleaning. Since the very first Interclean in 1967, the exhibition has developed to become the world’s leading trade fair for the cleaning industry.
The first edition of Interclean took place in 1967; from 1998, the show has made an alliance with ISSA and became ISSA/INTERCLEAN. Since this alliance the internationalism of the show has increased substantially where it has grown to become the most complete cleaning show in the world. The event has proudly gained international recognition and earned a high level of loyalty from global visitors and exhibitors. It has become an important business event for cleaning professionals worldwide, and gives insights into global developments and provides a complete industry overview.
ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam is seen and praised as the flagship of our ISSA/INTERCLEAN trade shows attracting thousands of distributors from 130 countries and key decision makers from the largest industrial, commercial, medical, institutional, hospitality, and educational facilities worldwide.
After four days, a grand total of 28,001 visits were registered, up from 23,415 last edition.
“The Amsterdam show is a truly international show with 72 percent international attendance, countries representing the highest visitor numbers are Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Scandinavian countries, Spain, Russia and United States," says den Hertog. "In our efforts to attract new visitors from the growing economies, we are happy to see that the biggest growth in attendance numbers are from Eastern Europe (Russia, Latvia, Estonia), South Africa, Asia (India, UAE, Japan) and Turkey.”
Some 670 manufacturers from 42 countries presented their latest products and solutions to an international audience of industry professionals. The numerous product demonstrations gave potential users the opportunity to experience the products. The ISSA Educational Conference, Minicongres, High Pressure demonstration area and the Miniskills were all well visited and received good feedback. Den Hertog says: ‘There was a great vibe throughout the event , and we are proud to host the global cleaning world under one roof here in Amsterdam, offering a complete range and overview of the industry.”
Numerous innovations, new products and more is expected at ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam 2014 held from 6-9 May in Amsterdam RAI.
