Imperial Dade, a distributor of disposable food service and janitorial supplies, has acquired Area Distributors, a family-owned and operated distributor of innovative packaging in San Jose, California, for an undisclosed amount.

Imperial Dade believes the acquisition strengthens its West Coast presence while enhancing the company’s differentiated value proposition to customers in the region.  The transaction represents the 25th acquisition for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, chief executive officer and president of Imperial Dade, respectively.
