The portfolio is owned by Emerus, the nation’s first and largest operator of neighborhood hospitals. Additionally, JLL is providing on-site support and construction management with additional executive oversight and leadership engagement through PDS.
"The most valued aspect of JLL's solution is the caliber of their on-ground team in the hospitals,” says Vanessa Smith, COO, Emerus. “Their commitment and alignment with Emerus goals are highly appreciated, as they demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and dedication. We feel as if they are a part of our own team."
Account Director Dan White leads the JLL IFM, Lease Administration, PM and Energy and Sustainability teams. Senior Facility Manager David Gates manages the Texas facilities and Senior Facility Manager David Oldfather manages the Las Vegas, Oklahoma, Milwaukee and Pittsburgh properties.
“Effective and successful facilities management not only centers on the health and safety of patients but also caregivers and teams,” says White. “We are excited to continue our relationship with these hospitals and emergency departments, especially at a time when more and more patients are centering convenience and proximity in their care decisions.”
Senior Vice President Dan Squiers, West Division Healthcare Lead, PDS; Account Director John Jonas, Work Dynamics; and Christine Jesse, senior project manager, PDS, lead the team providing PDS support.
“The model we are developing in this first program has the potential to be tapped nationally anywhere Emerus may need PDS support,” says Squiers.
“JLL’s ability to provide a full slate of coordinated healthcare services spanning multiple sites and states demonstrates the level of industry experts that JLL can offer clients,” adds Alison Flynn Gaffney, FACHE, president, Healthcare Division, JLL.
