JanPak, Inc. hosted a Healthcare Symposium that brought together the company’s top  healthcare specialists for an intensive three-day session that featured industry experts from the fields of Infection Prevention, Environmental Services, Strategic Sourcing, and Group Purchasing as well as leading manufacturers from the Cleaning & Hygiene Industry.

The 2012 Healthcare Symposium was designed to educate the company’s healthcare specialists on key trends taking place in the industry and equip them with the critical knowledge necessary to address needs facing infection prevention, environmental services, and strategic sourcing.  The Symposium featured Connie Steed, Director of Infection Prevention at Greenville Hospital System, who led a session that focused on reducing hospital-associated infections.

The Symposium also featured a panel discussion, including Mike Bailey, EVS Director at Greenville Hospital System, William Brewer, Director of Strategic Sourcing at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, John Mateka, Executive Director, Materials Management at Greenville Hospital System and Daniel Larrabee, Director of EVS at Bishop Gadsden Retirement Community.  The Panel addressed key issues relating to upcoming changes in healthcare, discussed how and what drives the decision making process, the value of HCAHPS scores, and key opportunities to reduce spend, and improve operational and supply chain efficiency.

And, the Symposium featured leading manufacturers, including Georgia-Pacific, Kimberly Clark, Gojo, Diversey, Spartan Chemical, Rubbermaid, and Clorox, who educated the team on the latest innovations to address the most critical needs facing these customers.
