Kaivac is honoring Hispanic Heritage Month by updating their Facebook Page with events, exhibits, celebrations, and related activities in honor of the event.
“The professional cleaning industry has always been a very diverse industry,” says Tom Morrison, vice president of marketing for Kaivac. “Each group has contributed significantly to make our industry stronger and more effective, including the large number of Hispanics who are involved in all aspects of professional cleaning.”
Hispanic Heritage Month was started in 1968 under then-President Lyndon Johnson. It was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a 30-day period starting on September 15 and ending on October 15 of each year.
This month-long celebration is designed to celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
“This is an important month for the Hispanic community in the U.S., and we are proud to recognize it and all the celebrations occurring in honor of this event,” says Morrison. “This annual tribute highlights the strong values, traditions, and contribution Hispanics have made to our industry and our country.”
