Kaivac, developers of the No-Touch Cleaning and the OmniFlex Crossover Cleaning systems, has just launched a new site – http://www.kaivacav.com – specifically for an all-new version of its innovative large area hard surface floor cleaning system.
The AutoVac is designed to be as effective as a traditional auto scrubber but costs as much as 90 percent less. Available in corded and Lithium-ion battery-powered models, the corded machine can clean 16,000 square feet per hour and the battery-powered system more than 20,000 square feet per hour.
These machines have also proven themselves to be exceptionally effective. According to tests at University of Massachusetts at Lowell, the AutoVac systems achieved 99 percent soil removal, topping the performance of a traditional auto scrubber and thirty times more superior than a new microfiber mop.
“Now with the new cordless capability, we believe this floor scrubber is such a step ahead of anything currently on the market that we thought it deserved its own website,” says Tom Morrison, vice president of marketing for Kaivac. “[The AutoVac microsite] is a reflection of how strongly we believe in this new technology.”
The AutoVac system releases fresh cleaning solution directly to the floor via a spigot at the bottom of the unit. “From here, users just press go and start walking. A microfiber pad at the base of the machine evenly spreads the cleaning solution while it provides the necessary agitation to loosen and remove soils, which are collected, along with moisture, by a squeegee blade. From here, they are vacuumed up by the AutoVac. It’s as simple as using a lawnmower.”
Other benefits of the AutoVac, according to Morrison, are that it has few moving parts, essentially eliminating repairs and downtime; is made of exceptionally durable materials; and can be used for more than just floor scrubbing.
“For instance, a vacuum wand [can be added] to the cordless AutoVac for cleaning restrooms, including restroom floors as well as hard to reach areas, so that it mimics a No-Touch Cleaning system,” says Morrison
With the new microsite launched, the AutoVac is being delivered to distributors in North America as well as in Europe.
