Hundreds have already submitted comments on the next drafts of the LEED Rating System, but The Ashkin Group and Green Cleaning Network want to remind those who have not had a chance to provide their feedback, that the comment period does come to an end next Wednesday, September 14th.
Some additional changes were made to the LEED-EBOM Rating System Draft since the 1st Public Comment Period. For example, two EQ credits on Green Cleaning (High Performance Cleaning Program and Indoor Chemical and Pollutant Source Control) have been removed and rolled into other credits. However, the prerequisites still exist and there are plenty of reasons why people are still going to do green cleaning. According to Steve Ashkin, there are a lot of other changes to the LEED Rating System worth reviewing, as well.
Ashkin encourages industry experts to let their comments be heard and be part of the next version of LEED-EBOM and the other LEED Rating System Drafts.
Visit www.ashkinleedeb.com, view the new drafts (including the red-lined versions) and submit your comments by September 14th.
