Today is the last opportunity to comment on the U.S. Green Building Council's latest draft of the 2012 LEED Rating System for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (LEED-EBOM). The comment period will be closed as of tomorrow, Tuesday, March 20.
All members of the industry are encouraged to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to help shape the future direction of green cleaning.

• The need to address entrance matting systems
• The change to the minimum requirement for the Custodial Effectiveness Assessment
• Add ozonated water in addition to ionized water and electrolyzed water for Products and Materials
• Various comments on acceptable "certifications" in Products and Materials
• The need for equipment maintenance logs
• The importance of adding a credit on janitorial training
