Laundry Well Represented At CMS 2017 Berlin

The care of cleaning textiles has a vital role to play in all aspects of cleaning and hygiene. In particular the cleaning of mops imposes special demands on washing machines and driers. Many of the exhibitors at CMS Berlin 2017 – Cleaning.Management.Services are demonstrating how the expert washing of cleaning textiles involves a perfect interplay between machines and detergents.

From 19 to 22 September this segment will be featured more prominently than ever before at the international trade fair for cleaning systems, building management and services. Machines with different loading capacities are essential in order to be able to cope with the volume of textiles used in a particular building. The dirt and fluff removed by the washing process must not be allowed to block pumps, filters or drains, or overload the heating elements. Other important prerequisites include short cycles, economical consumption and the effective use of resources. In addition, the preparatory treatment of textiles contaminated with micro-organisms demands precise adherence to the washing program with regard to time, temperature and detergent, as well as documentation of the disinfection process.

When cleaning textiles are being washed it is also important to have a connection to a dispensing system which feeds the right amount of detergent and disinfectant directly into the machine. Liquid detergent is ideal for ensuring trouble-free dispensing. Such detergents must be capable of removing oily and liquid soiling of the cleaning textiles, without leaving any residues. For example, washing must be separated according to whether it is clean or soiled in order to comply with the hygiene regulations in force in hospitals and care homes.

As CMS 2017 will show, the manufacturers of washing machines and detergents can provide the innovative products and efficient solutions needed to meet these different requirements. The following statements by exhibitors reveal what companies from the laundry sector will be displaying on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, and what their expectations are for what is the most important event of the year for this industry:

Martin Hübner, Head of the Professional Division of Miele Marketing in Germany: “Miele Professional is presenting the entire portfolio of machines and services for everyday work in the building cleaning field at CMS 2017: in particular, washing machines that provide mops and wiping cloths with cleaning agents and ensure that they are available again for use in the shortest possible time. With many decades of experience in the commercial laundry sector Miele is the highly qualified contact partner for building cleaning companies that wish to monitor the quality and costs of hygienically clean mops and wiping cloths themselves. Moreover, its needs-based leasing and rental concept facilitates decisions about acquiring the latest technology.”
