Commercial flooring company Mats Inc. is promoting two employees to executive positions, the Stoughton, Massachussets-based company announced.

Ed Pedrick has been named chief sales officer and Chuck Heckman has been named chief marketing officer. Both men will report to CEO, Barry Hume.

“I’m excited to have Ed and Chuck on our executive team,” says Hume. “2020 is going to be a pivotal year for Mats Inc. and I’m very confident that their experience and expertise will help to accelerate our growth plans.”

Pedrick was previously the managing director of MI Studios, a division of Mats Inc. and the exclusive North American partner of Swedish design company, BOLON. He has a 20-year career in commercial interior sales, marketing and executive management. Prior to joining MI Studios, Pedrick led both European and U.S. Organizations in North America and he is uniquely positioned to develop and implement strategies that will accelerate Mats Inc. growth initiatives.

Chuck Heckman comes to Mats Inc. with 20 years of marketing, strategy, and technology experience with brands such as Adidas, T-Mobile, P&G and Heineken. Heckmanck will lead all marketing efforts with a focus on customer experience, social and digital marketing and digital sales tools, in addition to traditional marketing outlets.

Together Pedrick and Heckman will lead deeper collaboration between Mats Inc. sales and marketing functions and work to deliver best-in-class client experiences to both current and future customers.
