Powr-Flite, Fort Worth, Texas, announces the hiring of Philip Pelphrey to be the company’s new Web Content Specialist.

The focus of Pelphrey’ position will be on developing video content for the company’s Web site along with enhancing on-side web content

Pelphrey attended Texas Christian University and studied in the school’s radio, television, and film department. Before joining Powr-Flite, he was directly involved with the filming of television and film documentaries and several video productions for major corporations in various industries.

“Phil, along with our entire Web team, has really helped us with the Web site,” says Steve Day, President of Powr-Flite. “The revenue generated from our Web site has increased 32 percent over last year, which is quite significant.”

Pelphrey says that one of his key projects right now is producing “how-to” videos for the Powr-Flite Web site.  These will be instructional videos directed at end-users, showing them how to make common repairs to their tools and equipment.
