Morcon Tissue has invested in a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This investment will allow the company to better service customers, introduce new products and significantly increase capacity of wound products.

Joe Raccuia, President and Owner of Morcon Tissue stated, “we are extremely excited to announce that we will be opening our third production facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This new site will help propel us into truly becoming a national supplier for our strategic customers.” Expanding into the Midwest region is “a strategic investment and world-class location which will provide access to new markets, create supply chain efficiencies and engage a strong workforce to meet our production needs,” Raccuia added.

Laura Morris, Morcon’s VP of Sales is also excited to share the news revealing that, “Our new winder in Tulsa will add 1 million cases of new capacity to our towel and tissue offering. With this additional capacity and this ideal location in Oklahoma, we will be able to better service our existing and future partners nationwide.”

Morcon Tissue’s greenfield site, which will house their new United Converting S-70 winder, adding 1M cases of wound product capacity, is their third production facility in the United States. This location will be fully operational in Q1 of 2019.
