Morcon Tissue announced a new partnership with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a renowned charity committed to honoring and supporting America’s heroes. Since its inception following the tragic events of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has made significant strides in providing assistance to Gold Star and Fallen First Responder Families, catastrophically injured Veterans, and first responders. Their mission also includes eradicating Veteran homelessness and ensuring that the memory of September 11, 2001, is never forgotten.
Through this partnership, Morcon Tissue aims to contribute to the Foundation’s noble cause of providing mortgage-free homes to families of fallen heroes and building specially-adapted Smart Homes for those who have sustained life-altering injuries. Additionally, the collaboration will support the Foundation’s critical initiative to eliminate Veteran homelessness.
Matt Milazzo, manager of National Programs at the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, expressed his gratitude for Morcon Tissue’s support, stating, “The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is honored to have Morcon Tissue’s support. Morcon’s generosity will help T2T house Homeless Veterans, and further the Foundation’s efforts of eradicating Veteran homelessness.”
Joe Raccuia, president and owner of Morcon Tissue, emphasized the importance of the partnership, saying, “Tunnel to Towers is an incredible charity whose beginnings date back to 9/11. What’s more important than helping those who served as a first responder or in our armed forces? This is an opportunity for Morcon to give back to those who have given so much for all Americans.”
Through this partnership, Morcon Tissue reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility and community support.
“Providing help to those in need is something that is very close to my heart,” Raccuia said.
