Facilities management and technology company, NEST International, has announced the addition of two new department VPs to the company. Robert Oliver will join the firm as vice president of IT, and William Bub, will join the staff as vice president of operations.
Oliver brings with him over 18 years of Information technology leadership at companies including CVS, Crowley, Wedgewood Pharmacy and Merck. He most recently comes from Cornerstone Records Management where he managed all IT operations nationally in 46 locations and was responsible for acquisitions and developing customer facing e-business solutions.
In addition, Oliver carries with him specific experience in sales operations metrics and deep technical experience in infrastructure and applications. In his new role, Oliver plans on developing strategic solutions that support world-class service management for clients and service providers while reducing costs and increasing business capabilities.
“The growth of NEST International has made it clear that we needed to invest in executive leadership focusing on our technological efforts,” said Kellie D’Andrea, president. “Our job is to help our clients cut costs and run a more profitable company. One of the many ways we do this is through technology, including our facility maintenance management system. We are always improving the system for a customized and efficient experience for our clients and service providers. This is just one of many goals he has on his plan and we are very excited to get moving.”
Bub brings with him over 20 years of experience in retail leadership and store operations with accomplishments at companies like Party City Corporation, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Jumbo Sports. Prior to joining NEST, Bub was vice president of retail, chief merchant and executive team member at Xanterra Parks and Resorts where he was responsible for producing $100 million in annual retail revenue. At Party City, Bub was a part of the senior management team that grew the Party City chain to over 750 stores and $1 billion in sales where he successfully increased comp store sales and profits every year.
Bub is a St. Louis native and a graduate of the University of Missouri St. Louis where he majored in finance.
“Here at NEST, we take our most valuable asset very seriously – our team,” said Rob Almond, chief operating officer. “We were very selective about the kind of candidate we brought on board to take over for me and lead our operations team. There is no doubt in my mind that Bill will elevate the level of excellence of our team and implement a solid plan to increase profitability for the company, giving our clients the service they deserve.”
