The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) and the National Education Association's Health Information Network (NEA HIN) - the health division of the more than three million-member National Education Association(NEA)  - have formed an educational partnership to disseminate information designed to foster healthier indoor environments in schools across the country.

HFI and NEA HIN will consult together and make available well-vetted information, as well as collaborate on press releases to demonstrate both organizations' commitment to healthier schools and NEA-member workers.

HFI's sister property, The Healthy House Institute (HHI) LLC with website located at http://www.healthyhouseinstitute.com will also call attention to the work of the NEA HIN and post related materials for consumers in a manner approved by NEA HIN, as well as help network NEA HIN to related health organizations and initiatives in the consumer sector.

"We are pleased to be partnering with the Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) in our shared mission to help make schools healthier," said Jerry Newberry, Executive Director for NEA HIN.  "Together with HFI, we will continue advancing the goal of healthier, safer, and more productive school environments for students by providing ongoing education for NEA members, the educational community and consumers."

"It is a special honor for HFI to be working with the highly respected health division of the National Education Association (NEA), to assist its more than three million members and 43 million associated students," said Allen Rathey, president of Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI). "We look forward to the shared opportunities to assist the educational community served by the NEA and the public at large touched by the nation's school systems."
