ISSA/INTERCLEAN offers no shortage of networking opportunities that aren’t just fun; the connections formed and ideas shared can have a positive business impact that lasts long after the show is over.

Here are some networking opportunities available at this year’s convention and trade show:

ISSA Golf Tournament
Hit the links at the Arroyo Golf Club, located at Las Vegas’ Red Rock Country Club. The award-winning course was designed by Arnold Palmer and offers a challenging, but not intimidating course set in breathtaking surroundings. Taking place on Sunday, Sept. 10, the scramble tournament kicks off with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Participants can form their own teams or be paired into foursomes. Teams will be equalized with a handicap system. ISSA has also brought in the Tee Shot Blaster for the closest-to-the-pin challenge. Proceeds will benefit the ISSA Foundation’s scholarship program, City of Hope charity and Clowning for a Reason.

Orientation And Show Tour
First-time attendees can receive help making sense of the enormous show during the New Attendees Orientation on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 8:30. The orientation is followed by an hour-long tour at 9:30 a.m. Both the orientation and tour are repeated in Spanish at 11 a.m.

Welcome Networking Reception
Begin, or continue, the networking at the Welcome Networking Reception. Taking place Sunday, Sept. 10, from 7:30-10:30 p.m., this event for members, peers, speakers and sponsors features light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Held at Bally’s Las Vegas, Skyview 5 & 6.

ISSA Sports Bar
The ISSA Sports Bar is a convenient place to take a break from all the booth visiting and do some informal networking, catch up on the latest sporting events, or just relax while downing a refreshing beverage. Located at Booth 3659).

ISSA Bistro
Arrange a lunchtime meeting with customers or colleagues and enjoy a healthy, appetizing (and productive) meal without having to leave the show floor. Table reservations at the Bistro can be made in advance for groups. Or, purchase individual tickets at a competitive price. Located at Booth 7020.

Evening Roundtables
The evening roundtables give participants a chance to ask questions and receive answers from other business owners interested in the same topics and issues, getting to know each other a little better in the process. Divided into three, 45-minute sessions, with a 15 minute break in between the sessions so attendees can switch tables (15 to 20 tables are open during each session), people come face-to-face with those they may otherwise not encounter during the show. Held at Bally’s Las Vegas, Skyview 5 & 6, on Monday, Sept. 11, from 7:30-10:30 p.m.
