New Hires Strengthen Emphasis On Driving Revenue

AFFLINK, supply-chain management company and creator of the ELEVATE process, announces the addition of three industry veterans to the company’s field selling organization effective January 3, 2017.

“As the leading sales and marketing organization in the industry, we are continuing to live out that mission by adding the right people that fit our model, our culture, and who can hit the ground running to produce results for our distributor members and end-customers,” says Mark Bozich, AFFLINK’s vice president of sales. “Their addition to AFFLNK immediately strengthens our position both in the national account arena and in the local marketplace for our Members.”

The three industry veterans joining AFFLINK are:

John Soldo – Business Development Manager, Industrial West
Based in Los Angeles, California, John Soldo comes to AFFLINK most recently from his role at Victory Packaging, where he led the protective packaging market segment and cold-chain management product lines for the distribution company. Bringing more than 30 years of industrial packaging experience to the group, John has also worked for industry giants such as SealedAir, Henkel, and the Wilpack Group internationally throughout Australia. John studied business and management at the US Air Force Academy on a water polo scholarship and received his bachelor’s degree from Cal State Fullerton.

John will work with AFFLINK Members and Suppliers in the West, driving new national account business via the ELEVATE™ process.

Working closely with Ron Moyer, vice president of the packaging channel for AFFLINK, John will report directly to Paul Vrzal, director of the industrial sales segment at AFFLINK.

Amy MacDonald – Business Development Manager, Industrial East
Amy MacDonald also joins the business with a strong familiarity of both AFFLINK and our distribution partners. Most recently serving as the vice president and general manager for SupplyOne, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio, Amy has extensive knowledge of the Industrial marketplace gained throughout her distinguished career working with xpedx, Corporate Express, and the Pitney Bowes organizations. Amy’s formal education is in the field of accounting, and she has spent decades honing her leadership and management skills at some of the leading training groups in the industry. Amy has previously served the AFFLINK membership by sitting on the Industrial Steering Committee for many years.

Amy will work with AFFLINK Members and Suppliers primarily covering the Eastern United States, driving new business through the ELEVATE™ process. Working closely with Ron Moyer, vice president of the packaging channel for AFFLINK, Amy will report directly to Paul Vrzal, director of the industrial segment for AFFLINK.

Tim McCord – Director of Commercial Sales, West
Tim McCord has accepted the position of director of sales for the commercial vertical covering the western United States. Based in Lubbock, Texas, Tim will be working alongside Rob Dunn, who will continue his role driving business in this segment throughout the East. Tim comes to us from Empire Paper Company, where he worked for nearly 20 years driving account acquisition in the BSC, education, and commercial sectors.

Tim most recently served as vice president and director of sales for Empire, and he led the training and management of 26 sales professionals across five states. Prior to that, Tim built his experience as a manufacturer sales rep for Bodan Sales Company and also created and managed his own retail business.

Tim has been an active participant on the AFFLINK Commercial Steering Committee for years and has helped drive new programs and services for all AFFLINK Members. Tim will report directly to Mark Bozich, VP of sales at AFFLINK.

“It speaks volumes about the vision of our organization that these sought-after individuals have chosen to continue their careers at AFFLINK,” says Bozich. “Make no mistake about it, these professionals are of the highest caliber, but with that comes the highest expectations. I have complete confidence that their efforts will pay dividends to our Members and Suppliers for years to come.”
