Sunburst Chemicals has promoted Jennifer Upchurch as its new corrections market development manager. Upchurch will be directing and further developing Sunburst Chemicals’ Correctional/Prison Cleaning and Sanitation Program efforts. The program offers unique solutions specifically formulated for laundry, food service and janitorial/housekeeping needs. The program also offers specially designed dispenser units created specifically for correction facilities to control and monitor chemical usage.
“We are excited to have Jennifer leading the Sunburst Chemicals’ corrections cleaning and sanitation program. She has already developed an impressive resume on correctional activities and will continue to help grow our presence within the industry,” says Pat Laughlin, vice president of sales and marketing, Sunburst Chemicals.
Before joining Sunburst Chemicals in 2009, Upchurch spent more than 15 years as a sales leader in the Chicago area. For the past five years she has been Sunburst Chemicals’ regional manager covering the Southeast region including Florida and Alabama, and will continue to oversee that position.
Sunburst Chemicals’ Corrections Program is a complete sanitation system built around advanced detergents, sanitizers and dispensing systems, along with superior service and customer training, to tackle every cleaning and sanitizing need throughout a correctional facility. Information on this program is available on Sunburst’s dedicated Corrections web page.
“Solid detergents provide the ultimate in safety, as they cannot be spilled, splashed or poured like traditional liquids or powders. Additionally, we offer tamper-proof enclosures for our dispensers, which is ideal for the corrections environment,” explains Laughlin.
“Working for Sunburst, I have an opportunity to work in tandem with a team of dynamic individuals who not only focus on their own customer’s satisfaction but also the satisfaction of the end-users,” says Upchurch. “I believe Sunburst Chemicals’ products deliver superior performance and value for users than competitive options, and embrace the opportunity to present the program to corrections professionals that they can see the Sunburst difference.”
The company is based in Minneapolis.
