The Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) Annual Meeting & Industry Convention will have a brand new look and a new locale in 2010, when the Association moves its Convention to The Grand Lakes Orlando.

The property includes a JW Marriott, a Ritz-Carlton, and more than 147,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space, as well as onsite golf, spa, eco-tours and a fly-fishing school.

“The SDA Convention is the cleaning product industry’s premier forum for business interaction and networking,” said Ernie Rosenberg, SDA President and CEO. “Choosing the right place for our members’ meetings, as well as for the Association’s own events, was critical.

“In our commitment to continuously improve the members’ Convention experience, we’re pleased that our move to Grande Lakes will provide our members with many opportunities to get even greater value from our meeting.”

During the next two years, SDA will work to ensure that its members receive regular updates on planning for the transition to Grande Lakes for the 2010 Convention, which will be held January 26-30.

The 2009 SDA Convention will be held January 27-31 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, Florida.
