Next-Gen Supply Group announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Simplex Janitorial Supply for an undisclosed sum.

Simplex serves a diverse and loyal customer base, including prominent corporate, educational, medical, and municipal clients across the Northeast. Co-founded by brothers Alan and Peter Brown in 1976, Simplex delivers critical supplies to ensure organizations maintain the highest levels of operational sanitation. This has been especially true during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Simplex couldn’t be more excited to have one of the country’s most innovative and progressive janitorial supply companies in our corner," said Alan Brown, CEO of Simplex. "We have long admired Next-Gen’s market leader position and commitment to its customer base. It is a privilege to become part of their extended family.”

Larry Stern, president of Next-Gen, added, “Simplex’s methodical approach, relationships, and purpose driven mission to serve its customer base positions it well. We look forward to increasing our geographic footprint in Massachusetts and beyond, enhancing operational resources and expertise to develop new opportunities, and supporting Simplex’s existing relationships.”

Simplex’s current customers will continue to see the level of service they are used to along with access to the increased product and service portfolio Next-Gen has to offer.
