Spencer has lived throughout the United States. She was born in Michigan, but has also lived in Kentucky, North Carolina and Wisconsin. While in Wisconsin, Spencer was a billing specialist and accounting assistant for a company that provides heavy hauling trucking services, as well as material hauling dump truck services. Prior to that job, Spencer worked for a crane, rigging and heavy hauling company in North Carolina where she processed the billing and oversaw safety certifications and programs for the crane department.

Spencer is currently working towards her bachelors of science degree in business management from Western Governors University.
