A recent infographic from Office Cleaners London found that people are often more conscious of environmental initiatives in their own homes than they are at work. For example, 36 percent of workers admit to throwing paper in the trash (compared to recycling it), while only 18 percent do this in their own homes.

The illustration below presents a case for maintaining a greener office by following the numbers. According to the infographic:

• 34 percent of employees say they're aware of their company's environmental target

• 58 percent of workers try to reduce waste at work

• 82 percent of office workers believe their company could do more to improve their environmental performance.

• 60 percent of workers consider a company’s environmental initiatives before applying for a job. And 51 percent would be happier if they could be more green at work.
