WTVD ABC 11 in Durham, North Carolina, is running a special news segment in which it honors an individual that exemplify the human spirit during the COVID-19 pandemic. One of its latest profiles honored Konstantinos Gkoulioumis, a janitor and maintenance worker at a Durham Costco.

Gkoulioumis was nominated as a hero by his two sons. They say their father deserves to be praised because he is an essential worker who puts his life in danger when he comes into contact with all sorts of germs.
