Nyco Products Company recently announced Mike Hopkins as their new Director of Operations. Hopkins comes to Nyco with a wide range of industry experience, including customer service, inside and outside sales, warehousing/distribution, quality, purchasing, transportation and logistics, production planning and supply chain. Industries he has served include primary metals, industrial power transmission, rigid containers and school supplies solutions. Most recently he served as the Operational Leader and Integrator for Climate Pros Inc. in Glendale Heights, IL.

As Director of Operations Hopkins will oversee the daily workings of Nyco, including Production, Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving and Technical/Regulatory. Through a focus on lean manufacturing principles he will work to ensure company processes are efficient and productive to meet customer requirements.
“Throughout the years, I’ve consistently been impressed by the way Nyco takes care of its customers through producing quality products that are delivered on time,” said Hopkins. “My goal is to continue that tradition while expanding on the progress that has already been made.”
Hopkins received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Illinois State University, and is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). He previously served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the Woodridge Area Chamber of Commerce, 2010 – 2015.
