John Wunderlich Assumes Presidency of Nyco Products Company

For just the second time in the last 31 years, Nyco Products Company has named a new president. Effective January 1, 2019, John Wunderlich assumed the leadership role of President.

John Wunderlich takes over for Robert Stahurski Jr., who will remain active in the company as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Stahurski has been President of Nyco since 1988.

An industry veteran, John Wunderlich joined Nyco in 1998 as Vice President of Sales, and has contributed to the productivity and growth of the company each year since then.

“I am honored to take on this new role and excited about the opportunity to lead the company I have been so passionate about these last 20 years,” stated Wunderlich. “I am also humbled to follow in the footsteps of long-time industry leader Bob Stahurski.”

Wunderlich hails from Kalamazoo, Michigan, with a Master’s degree in Speech Communication from Central Michigan University. After teaching stints in New York and Michigan he moved to Chicago in 1981 to begin his career in manufacturing, sales and marketing in the sanitary supply industry. Previous experience at companies such as Daley International and ABC Compounding provided background and exposure to a variety of markets and industries. John is active in the Chicago Family Business Council, is a past president of the Greater Chicago Sanitary Supply Association and currently serves on the Nyco Board of Directors.
