Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Richmond-Centerville has been named the company’s Franchise of the Year. Office Pride of Richmond-Centerville is owned by Mike Straszheim, a multi-unit owner with the national franchise system.
Office Pride of Richmond-Centerville was recognized for the top honor at Office Pride’s annual owners’ retreat, which was held Sept. 27-30 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Straszheim, who owns Office Pride of Dayton-Eaton (Ohio) and Office Pride of Richmond-Centerville (Indiana), also received the company’s Standards of Excellence award this year, which recognizes promotion of Office Pride’s core values, sales growth and revenue retention, engagement and reporting.
Franchise of the Year is awarded to the franchise with the highest score among Standards of Excellence winners.
Earlier this year, Straszheim was selected by Franchise Business Review as one of 77 “Rock Star Franchise Owners” in the multi-unit category from among more than 36,000 franchisees representing more than 360 brands.
Last year, he received Office Pride’s Integrity Award, the company’s highest individual honor, and the Salt and Light Award for community service for his work with AWAKE ministries, which marries business concepts with evangelism in poverty-stricken areas. These awards recognize Straszheim’s commitment to integrity, excellence and service in both his personal and professional life.
