Process Cleaning for Healthy Schools (PC4HS) Board Member, Roni Barker, is the recipient of the 2013 Washoe County School District (WCSD) K12 Education Foundation Education Support Professional (ESP) of the Year Award, in the Plant Facilities category.
“We are very proud that one of our board members has been recognized by Washoe County as the Plant Facilities ESP of the Year,” says Rex Morrison, founder and president of PC4HS. “This honor comes with a $1,000 prize and recognition plaque funded by the Washoe K12 Education Foundation, and Roni — accompanied by her supervisor and family members — will be officially presented with the Education Support Professional (ESP) Award at the Washoe K-12 Education Foundation Board meeting on May 28th. We could not be happier for her.”
Roni Barker is the site facility coordinator at Washoe County, Reno, Nev. School District’s largest middle school. Her prior experience includes 23 years in the manufacturing sector, supervising assembly and fabrication departments, involvement in work flow analysis, one piece process flow, point of use parts storage, work station layout and design experience; as well as implementation of a system to handle both internal fabrication as well as outside vendor parts.
Roni Barker, currently serves as treasurer of the PC4HS Consortium, a national non-profit organization of facility professionals helping members produce healthy, high performance schools while protecting jobs in budget-constrained environments.
