PDI has appointed two new members to its board of directors, the infection prevention products solutions company announced in a press release.
The appointments of Jody Hatcher, former president of Vizient’s Supply Chain Services, and Filippo Passerini, former Procter & Gamble Group President Global Services, add key strategic guidance and leadership to build upon PDI’s clinical expertise, solution-oriented product offerings, and trusted advisor position.
The announcement of the two new board members comes at a pivotal time of growth and expansion for PDI. In recent years, PDI has experienced significant organic growth through focused efforts to expand globally in acute healthcare, environmental services, healthcare alternate site and food safety markets. PDI also continues to innovate through partnerships and acquisitions. The company acquired a majority share in Tru-D SmartUVC in 2019, extending its product line to now include a durable equipment and services platform, adding to its portfolio of “layered solutions” for its infection prevention customers. Importantly, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, PDI has played a critical role in supplying essential cleaning and disinfecting products to help protect lives worldwide.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jody Hatcher and Filippo Passerini to our board of directors as we continue to enhance and expand PDI’s capabilities and footprint,” says Zachary T. Julius, chief executive officer, PDI. “These new members bring deep knowledge and decades of leadership experience in customer supply chain, global business systems, and technology solutions across a diverse spectrum of global markets. Their passion for our mission and expert guidance will be invaluable as PDI continues to innovate and deliver infection prevention tools that address the challenges we face today and may face in the future.”
These appointments bring PDI’s total board membership to seven.
