Pacific Maintenance Company (PMC), a Santa Clara-based contract cleaning firm with locations throughout the United States, has hired Julio Rios to head up PMC’s new Facilities Support Division. This new division offers maintenance, light plumbing, cubicle assembly, locksmithing, demolition and construction, electrical services, HVAC, lighting retrofits, painting and handyman services.

Rios, who serves as PMC’s facilities support project manager, has worked in facility maintenance management since 1998. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in administrative justice from San Jose State University. Rios specializes in tenant improvement projects and building maintenance.

“Building maintenance doesn’t stop with interior cleaning, window washing, and restroom sanitation. We added this new division so our customers could rely on us for more than just traditional cleaning services,” said Kari Hus, PMC president. “In a typical day in a commercial or industrial building, our clients have all kinds of pop-up needs and urgencies. PMC can now be our customers’ single point of contact for maintenance and facilities support.”

In addition to his background in facilities support, Rios brings hands-on experience and has general contracting, lock and security, and painting licenses, an annoucement from the company states.
