Pioneer Building Services is pleased to announce the formation of a new executive team for the company comprised of Chase Carlson as President, Kathleen Murphy as Vice President of Client Development, and Paul Renick as Vice President of Finance.
Chase Carlson was promoted to President in October 2016. He has been with Pioneer for more than seven years and as President will oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of the company. Mr. Carlson has served for the past six years on the Board of Directors for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI), and was recently elected to serve on the National Board for BSCAI. Under Mr. Carlson’s leadership, Pioneer has grown by 250 percent and achieved national certifications and awards for sustainable service and workplace safety.
As Vice President of Client Development, Kathleen Murphy will lead business development efforts, as well as the retention of existing clients. She brings 25 years of real estate and facilities management experience, most recently with CBRE, Inc. where she served as Associate Director, Asset Services. Ms. Murphy’s experience in managing multi- million dollar operating budgets for large commercial real estate portfolios will offer a unique perspective and value to the current and future clients of Pioneer.
Paul Renick brings 27 years of accounting and finance-related experience from various industries and markets. As Vice President of Finance, Mr. Renick will provide leadership and overall management of Pioneer’s financial planning, accounting, and budget management functions. For the past ten years, Mr. Renick worked as CFO for Cavalier Facility Services. His professional experience within the cleaning industry as well as the restaurant and automotive industries makes Mr. Renick a valuable addition to the company.
Pioneer Building Services remains focused on the janitorial industry and growth opportunities throughout the Mid- Atlantic region. The company has tripled in size since 2012 and is positioning itself for continued growth with the establishment of this new executive team. Mr. Carlson states that “Hiring these two individuals establishes a strong and experienced leadership team that will be the catalyst to achieving Pioneer’s long-term growth objectives as well as continues to form a lasting and sustainable service brand throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.”
