Pristine Environments, a Washington D.C.-based provider of specialized facility maintenance solutions, is merging with San Diego-based KBM Facility Solutions, a specialty provider of facility and maintenance services, this according to a joint press release.

“As we continually look for ways to expand our partner portfolio, KBM is the perfect complement to our growing business,” says Brian Snow, chief executive officer of Pristine Environments. “With its focus on sustainability and results-driven performance, this merger will provide each company with access to a new suite of solutions that will enhance the level of service we can provide our customers.”

The strategic merger will allow the companies to update service offerings including specialized cleaning and maintenance programs for new and existing customers.

Pristine Environments offers facility management services that are ideal for maintaining highly sensitive environments such as corporate real estate facilities, data centers, secure government buildings, biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare and other specialized industries. KBM is a national Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS)-certified provider of sustainable facility solutions, including janitorial and day porter services, floor and carpet care, facility maintenance and construction services.

“With a corporate culture and business approach that mirrors our own company ethos, merging with Pristine Environments will only enhance our value and service to customers,” says Eric Miller, chief development officer at KBM. “We want to thank all current and potential customers who stopped by our booth during the recent BOMA show to learn about the new relationship and better understand how the relationship will enhance their own operations.”

A spokesperson says the companies will keep their respective names throughout the partnership.
