Every year at ISSA/INTERCLEAN, ProTeam honors the manufacturer representative and rep groups who have made significant contributions to the year’s success. This October in Las Vegas, Paul Dennis of Mid-America Distributor Sales was recognized with the Mark Reimers Award as 2015’s Sales Representative of the Year. Washington-based Ryan, Saffel & Associates accepted the Larry Shideler Award for Manufacturer Representative Agency of the Year. With the best five-year growth rate, Buckley & Associates was named Outstanding Rep Agency for 2015.

In order to be considered for the Mark Reimers Award, a sales representative must have top quartile performance in account management, end-user development and sales, and new product launches. This year, Paul Dennis of Mid-America Distributor Sales achieved that and more. He is a driven leader and a big-picture thinker with strong partnerships and presentation skills. Dennis set himself apart from his peers in 2015 earning the honor of Mark Reimers’s namesake award.
The award for Manufacturer Representative Agency of the Year is named after the daring and innovative founder of ProTeam, Larry Shideler. Ryan, Saffel & Associates upheld Shideler’s legacy with an expertly executed business plan, disruptive sales, and exceptional growth in key categories. Western Regional Manager Mike Harrington presented the award to Ryan, Saffel & Associates at the annual rep breakfast.
“They are innovative. They are investing in their future. They don’t do things the old-fashioned way,” said Harrington. “They are absolutely an end-user obsessed, focused company. It’s a pleasure to work with them.”
The award for Outstanding Rep Agency is reserved for the company with the consistency and perseverance to achieve the best five-year growth rate. Buckley & Associates with their unbeatable key distributor and end-user relationships has long held the respect of the cleaning industry as a market leader and example of excellence.
“For me this award is about consistent performance – year in, year out, every year,” said Northeast Regional Manager Ray Noonan when presenting the award alongside Southeast Regional Manager Bob Cusick. “I have learned a lot from Buckley & Associates and the way they present our products.”
