Jeff Kampel, senior vice president of vendor relations at R.J. Schinner, has died, the company announced in a press release.

Kampel arrived arrived at R.J. Schinner in 2015 as a legend in the industry with a long list of accomplishments. Since that arrival, his larger than life personality, unequaled industry knowledge and long developed relationships, had been an instrumental part of the company growth and success, said the company.

“It is hard to put into words the impact Jeff has had at R.J. Schinner. Never one to shy away from a challenge or opportunity, Jeff could dominate a room, while at the same time mentor and teach others," said Ken Schinner, president of R.J. Schinner. "His ability to negotiate, formulate strategies, and instill in all of us at R.J. Schinner a ‘never settle for second place’ attitude will be sorely missed."

Jeff is survived by his wife, three children, and 10 grandchildren.
