Roadnet Technologies Inc. has selected Karan Gupta as Director of Finance and Revenue Planning for the Baltimore-based international fleet management and vehicle logistics software company. He formerly worked in the Software division of Intermedix EMSystems.

In his new position, Mr. Gupta will be responsible for the pricing of Roadnet Technologies’ GPS-based vehicle routing, scheduling, tracking and optimization products, the evaluation of potential deals with sales, as well as overseeing revenue recognition. He will also assist with streamlining processes, and general accounting and financial activities.

Mr. Gupta brings more than seven years of progressive experience in the financial and accounting industries to the route management software team at Roadnet Technologies, and has worked primarily with software and high technology companies. He also has knowledge in the management of tax reporting and acquisition integration.

“Karan’s extensive experience within the software and high technology industries represented a key factor in his selection to our growing team, and we were also extremely impressed with his diverse knowledge of financial analysis and evaluation, as it relates to our sales and marketing strategies,” explained Len Kennedy, Chief Executive Officer of Roadnet Technologies.

Mr. Gupta earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Finance from George Mason University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland at College Park. He presently resides in Towson, Maryland.
