Nominations for the 2012 Roadie Awards, a competition recognizing transportation logistics companies for excellent in Running Green, Operating Efficiently and Innovation, closes June 30. The awards are given to Roadnet Technologies routing software customers as part of their 2012 Users Conference, planned for October 22 – 24 at the Hyatt Regency Miami. The Roadnet Roadie Awards are designed to recognize accomplished vehicle planning and routing software users that have achieved excellence in one of three specialty categories. 2010 Roadie Award winners included Testa Produce and UNFI in the Running Green category; Coastal Sunbelt Produce for Operating Efficiently and Mohawk in the Innovation category. Runner-up finalists included Dr. Pepper Snapple Group for Operating Efficiently and Cleveland Coca-Cola Bottling Company for Innovation.
