Rosenau Cleaning University Honors Four for Achieving CITS Masters Certification

The Philip Rosenau Company, through the Rosenau Cleaning University (RCU), recently honored four individuals for meeting the Masters requirements of the Cleaning Industry Training Standard (CITS) released last year by ISSA – The Worldwide Cleaning Association. This certification signifies the commitment of these individuals and their organizations.  Masters candidates must attend seven mandatory classes and achieve a minimum score of 75 percent on the knowledge checks for each class. The seven classes are:  General Cleaning, Carpet Care, Hard Floor Care, Restroom Care, General Safety, Hazard Communication, and Customer Service.

Successful Candidates were:  Robert Bayard – Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, Jeff Brown – Immaculata University, Yianni O’Hara – Vanguard Cleaning Systems, and Joe McNiff – Phillip Rosenau Company.  Twelve other people have started down the Path to Masters by attending RCU classes.  The Rosenau Cleaning University has provided training to cleaning professionals for over 25 years.

This spring, cleaning professionals can pursue ISSA CITS Masters Certification simply by participating in RCU programs at the company’s state of the art training center in Warminster, PA.
